RACING FAN

Shane Beck the founder of the Racing Fan show in 2001. He has been involved in auto racing since 1988. His first race car was a 1969 Ford Torino with a 289hp engine. Shane not only has driven race cars he has owned a racing team. Shane said "I have been fortunate that I have been able to fund my hobbie of racing with sponsorship dollars and have expaned my involvement in a sport throught the radio as a talk show host".

The Racing Fan show will be celebrating their 10th season on the air in 2011. "I can't hardly believe that a simple idea that I had on the way with friends to the sand dunes has turned out to be as successful as this show has been" said Beck. Shane also knows that none of this would be possible with out the fans and is why he calls the show The Racing Fan, to remind him who keeps him on the air.

It has been known that Shane truely cares about the racers and says all the time how it is important to him to make sure the fans know who the locals are and who their sponsors are.

It is a sport he enjoyed watching on Saturday nights with his dad and brother and one he hope will continue to watch and support for many years.
